I have a 96 Sentra that has a problem with the alternator discharging the battery when the car sits for a weekend. I put a meter on it and with nothing on I isolated the discharge to the alternator feed wire (white). If I disconnect that for the weekend it works fine. It has a new battery so I changed the alternator out. It's still doing the same thing. Downloaded the wiring diagram and don't see anything special. Looking for any ideas.

hello, did you put meter in series at the battery.how much is the draw?not sure about white wire i'm guessing its not the feed wire for alt thats usually a red wire......if it is the feed wire then thats always hot 12v.you may have to check that circuit for the cause

Meter was in series and it draws about 300ma.
