Official Will This Buff Out Thread!BeZerK2112 03-05-2008, 02:37 PM Lets see the damage! Post pictures of you car after an accident. Please limit the picutres you post to accidents that you, your friends, or family were personally involved in. We dont want post whores to gum up the thread with pictures of some of the worst accidents they have ever seen. Lets keep this work safe so no carnage or boddies. We would prefer pictures of the aftermath, like the pitures you take for insurance reasons. BeZerK2112 03-05-2008, 02:41 PM This one was of my buddie just last week. He hit some ice on an on ramp going 70 miles an hour and still mashing the gas. Spun out and hit a road sign with. http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m112/sypher2112/0303081534.jpg Polygon 03-05-2008, 02:47 PM 1989 LeBaron GTC Turbo II (totaled): http://www.synapsepc.com/Hosting/Images/GTC/1989%20GTC/Side%20(Wreck).jpg 1990 LeBaron GTC Turbo IV (not worth restoring): http://www.synapsepc.com/Hosting/Images/GTC/1990%20GTC/Passenger%20Side.jpg 1989 LeBaron GTC Turbo II (Buick, will fix): http://www.synapsepc.com/Hosting/Images/GTC/CarDomain/Page%203/Driver%20Side.jpg 1991 Stealth R/T TT (curb, fixed): http://www.synapsepc.com/Hosting/Images/Stealth/CarDomain/2007/Wreck/Wheel.jpg BP2K2Max 03-05-2008, 03:52 PM i hit a deer 2 weeks after i bought the car. ...actually it hit me. still had the temp plate on the back. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/93341P10003541-med.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/93341P1000362-med.JPG Gotian 03-06-2008, 11:08 AM Oh man poly, when did the Baron get hit? Polygon 03-06-2008, 11:41 AM The red one was totaled about four years ago. The current GTC I bought that way. It got me the car for $600. The previous owner's son backed the family Buick into it. Gotian 03-06-2008, 11:47 AM Oh well i guess you got a good deal from it then, lol. Polygon 03-06-2008, 01:53 PM Yeah, I wouldn't have bothered save for the fact it took me two years to find that one. It just means I'll need a new door and weld in a new quarter panel. CassiesMan 03-06-2008, 02:03 PM Yeah, I wouldn't have bothered save for the fact it took me two years to find that one. Gotian 03-06-2008, 02:45 PM Its okay, the jetta has a dent cause i made a turn and didnt see the saturn cause it was in my blind spot and much lower than the jetta, it was also at night and a black car, odds were against me that night, lol. I never bothered fixing it cause im trying to sell it and get rid of the payments, gonna buy probably an older car and just mod it out. Polygon 03-06-2008, 03:36 PM Speed dent dude...Speed dent. Oh, that's right. :sly: It happened because I was driving so fast that negative pressure formed around the car and. . . . BOOM! Gotian 03-06-2008, 03:54 PM Oh, that's right. :sly: It happened because I was driving so fast that negative pressure formed around the car and. . . . BOOM! Thats what happened to my diamantes engine, lol AMGalltheway 03-06-2008, 07:34 PM so thats why im having overheating problems on the highway!! that negative pressure will kill you! Polygon 03-07-2008, 01:49 AM so thats why im having overheating problems on the highway!! that negative pressure will kill you! Yep, dents, blown engines, lack of cooling, lack of intake charge, asphyxiation. . . . clawhammer 03-09-2008, 09:17 PM Haven't posted here for a while, but I did this last October: http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f65/lgyeresi/IMG_1630.jpg I was going 65 mph on a freeway, there was an accident ahead of me, everybody stopped, except for me. I walked away without a scratch. Only liability insurance on the car, so it's my loss. CassiesMan 03-10-2008, 01:22 AM Thats what happened to my diamantes engine, lol One of my coworkers who, frighteningly enough, is a service tech rep, got in my car the other day to check it out. He looked down at my boost gauge and went "dude, something is wrong." I, thinking I'm idling at an AFR at 20 or something (its an AFR/Boost combo), ask what. "Your turbo is messed up. Your showing -18 psi." GForce957 03-10-2008, 01:52 AM OH snap I can show pics of the hole in my Bullitt plus my friend just wrapped his 2jz'd sc300 around a tree last night CassiesMan 03-10-2008, 09:35 AM wrapped his 2jz'd sc300 around a tree last night There is a special circle in hell for people like that. I'll put up some pics here in a bit of an FD that was stolen and bit the dust locally. Keep him away from you car. CassiesMan 03-11-2008, 02:21 PM I plan on it. I will refain from showing what happened to the interior, as this is a family site... Rumor has it the AEM showed a down shift from fifth to fourth at around 160-170 at WOT. The engine, obviously, is no longer in operation. Gotian 03-11-2008, 03:25 PM My god, what did that FD ever do to the guy who stole it? One less beautiful car in this world. Gotian 03-11-2008, 03:28 PM I have to see the interior, im not afraid, i just have to see it. CassiesMan 03-11-2008, 04:27 PM We had a pretty big meet two weeks ago, there were a few R32s and an R33 along with some Evo Xs out. We saw some shaddy types wandering around, who just gave off the "we don't belong" vibe. Still, we just thought they were there just to check out the Skylines, and didn't pay much attention. Police are positive the guys were there to scope out who had what in the way of visable security. This FD got picked. I'll put up interior shots when I get home from work. BeZerK2112 03-11-2008, 06:27 PM I'm going to have to go in the corner and cry now. :frown: Which corner I'll join you! Maby we should have some kind of service for it. Lay it to rest properly. That was one nice car. Still would like to see the interior. turtlecrxsi 03-12-2008, 09:35 AM Poor FD :15millionsign: That was a nice car. Car thieves should have their hands and feet removed so they can never steal again. Or Smith & Wesson works too... Polygon 03-12-2008, 01:08 PM I say they should be put in a wooden outhouse. Nail their balls to the seat and give them a rusty butter knife. Then light it on fire. They have to cut off their meat and two bits or burn to death. If they do cut them off just shoot them when they come out. That still isn't deserving when someone does something like that to a beautiful FD, but it's the best I can come up with. Gotian 03-12-2008, 02:28 PM No see we should do what they did to the FD, Gut his "Interior", damage his "tires" we should drop his "shifter" from 5th to 3rd and have him appologize to the FD while we shove a rotor in his "Exhaust". BeZerK2112 03-12-2008, 05:58 PM ^^^ YIKES! Agreed but YIKES! Greenblurr93 03-12-2008, 07:17 PM vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
