i just put 215/45/17 on my 93 accord. the next step is to lower. i've talked to a few people and got different answers. i'm looking to spend around 220. i'm not looking for anything but looks and a comfortable ride without killikng the suspension. it's used for everyday driving. i'm looking at tucan coilovers or something similar in one dept. the other way to go would probably be eibach springs or something. i want to drop it around 2 inchs. let me know what u guys think would be a good way to go. adjustable or not...whatever other options are out there

With that budget you are looking at a straight spring install. The best springs for that are Eibach.

Make sure you don't have over 50k miles on your current shocks.

Get an alignment after as well dont kill those tires.

i'm looking at either h&r sportkit or eibach prokit. i've heard good things about both...is there really that much of a difference between them for the prices. is there any that might be better?

To be honest Eibach is more popular, but H&R is a great sping as well, offers good comfort, and good loading balence I would go H&R only beacuse I think they are a bit more aggresive and combined with most shock they work well.

thnx, i went with h/r...i got a real good price on them plus everywhere else i went tey were onback order. i should have them on by tomorrow. i'll let u guys know what i thihnk nd possibly have some pix on pretty soon.

well, i can't complain...the car looks pretty damn good now. it could be al ittle lower in the front especcially but all is well---anybody else have the same problem?? the ride is great, it rides real smooth and handles great even on basic monroe shocks with 10k. cant say enough about htem. i should have some pics in a few days.

I'll be waiting for the pics, sometimes lower is not better.

You are right, except when it comes to looks, or if you have a fully trick set up which still allows adequate suspension travel, bump and rebound control and you don't drive off road!;)

yeah, i think i'm better off having my car at the hiehgt it is now. plus if i went any lower i'd have to get a camber kit...does any1 have any idea how long my shocks might last? they're monroe sensatracs with about 10-15k already on them
