When I changed the transmission pan a small metal piece fell and I put it back at the most logical place(i know). Here is a drawing of what it looked like:

It looks like it is meant to keep the filter from being pushed up. It fit perfectly and the curved part in the middle points down. I have a Hayne's but no relevant pics. Car is driving okay but wanted to make sure.

I had also replaced the radiator because I was getting coolant in the transmission. But now I have a leak on the passenger side and it only leaks when the engine has cooled way down. I have checked with the car running and a few hours afterwards, then the next morning several drips.

Also now I am getting a couple drops from one location of the tranny pan. Which means possible coolant leak again(or high pressure).
Is there anyplace else in the system that the coolant and transmission fluid can mix? I will check the coolant level tomorrow since it takes a while to notice if it is going down. The coolant color is ok. From the drip and tranny dipstick that fluid looks okay, but it looked okay last time. I got under there and cannot really tell - maybe an axle seal.

I know this is one for the shop but I wanted to get an idea.
