I have been working on the CLK Sportswear CLK GTR. The chassis is done and the body is almost ready for decals. I hate silver paint had to repaint the rear deck a few(allot) of times. Body is painted TS-17 Gloss Aluminum with TS-13 Clear.

Nice start! I've got this one on my list as well.

The rims look very nice. What color did you use? Are you planning on clearing over the decals?

The rims are done in TS-30 Silver Leaf(decanted and airbrushed) I use Future and Zymol Wax over the decals. I actually just wipe the Future on then wax when dry.

Looks interesting. Very clean and tidy.
I especially like the shocks and springs. Did you scratchbuild them or are those stock ?

Hello Dale
Just like always a very nice and clean build. have to see his work in person.
One of the cleanest builders I have seen to date. Not much scratch built detail but it is impressive to see how clean he builds. Great work once again.

Looks very clean so far. Good luck with the rest of it. Anything special planned or just simply straight oob, which will look great on this one!

Your build is extremely clean. Are you going to use the kit's decals? Did you use MFH Heat Shield?

I am currently doing the decals, I knew these would be tough so I ordered an extra set from Tamiya. The Girl over the front right corner of the car was one of the toughest decals I ever did. The colors are very odd and are hard to match for touch up.

Decals are done. That girl was tough. Allot of touch up and cleaning of panel lines then Future and wax and a black wash in the panel lines

The girl seems to be one of the toughest decals out there in modeling, I suppose. Looks very nice! Way to go!

Nice work. I'm glad I opted for the simpler CLK. Is it surprising that a woman would be more difficult than a man? :icon16:

Nice work so far. that B*#@% on the headlight is a mother. I fe'ed mine up and reboxed the kit. Yours looks good though. keep it up! Chassis/interior is very clean as well. Maybe a little more detail? But hey, know when to say when! Keep it coming.
