have a 92 sierra and for awhile guage wouldn't work even after putting in new sensor and thermostat, hasn't worked for a long time but everything was working right, no over heating. Well the other day it started going back and forth, would register very hot then cold, once again checked everything out and was working like it's supposed to. Is guage fixable?
truck's running perfectly

There are 2 sensors on your 92. The one in the intake is for the ECM and the one in drivers side cylinder head (between #1 and #3) is for the gauge.

Which one did you replace?
