Intake manifold hose connector snapped

Hi,
I lost pretty close to 2 gallons of coolant when this rubber/plastic puppy snapped off the passenger side lower Intake manifold plenum.(connects small "S" hose from the block. Now the problem is the remaining piece, (threaded I assume) is stuck in there, and is in an awkward spot under S/charger.

My question, can I burn the sucker out (close to fuel rail) and how far in does it go? (don't want any bits falling into plenum) Is there any other way to get the piece out? Where can I get the part besides wrecker? Any online urls ?

Thanks

NAPA has the replacement plastic elbow, as well as probably many other places. You can use a utility hook to remove the remnants of the old part. That's worked well for me.

Thanks for your quick response.
Can't find anything on the web named "utility hook",utility knife yes. On looking at the broken off part I can see the remainder of a thread on it so I'm flummoxed as to what you mean. Does the hook cut the rubber or what.

Omg HOTZ ! Bang on! A guardian angel I don't need when you're here :).

I had all kinds of nightmare scenarios of dealing with recyclers just trying to explain the deal, and visions of me setting car on fire melting out the broken part.

You're response was timely also since antifreeze is on sale 'till today.

Thank you !
