'92 Voyager has no neg. signal to fuel pump relayHooptydue 02-28-2008, 03:42 PM The van wouldn't start. I checked the fuel pump relay along with the auto shutdown relay and neither has a negative signal from the ECU. Got a used ECU from the junkyard and still no signal. I need help. What to check next? jpb53 02-29-2008, 10:06 PM The computer does not give the relay a negative signal; it grounds the relay. Pull the relay an see if thereare any numbers by the contact posts.#30 should have power to it at all times. If there is no power there and if I remember right you have a burnt fusible link. If they are not numbered check all the female connectors for the relay and see if you have power. #86 should power up with key on; run position is good here. If not you have a feed problem from your igniton switch. # 85 is the post that is grounded by the pcm. #87 isis power out to the fuel pump. You can pull the relay out slightly from the connector and check this with a test light and see if you have power where it is supposed to be. The relay should be energized for a coule of seconds when the key is turned to the start position. Does this happen? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
