?'s about replacing fuel injectors

ok so far i've ask all the dealers and mechanics about why my truck dies randomly. it it acts like it wants to start but it'll fire off but then die withen the next second. it usually take 15 minutes to get it up and running. at first i thought it was the cold but then we had a heat wave come threw and out of nowhere it dies in the middle of traffic. it felt like i ran out of gas cuz it bogged down then died. its starting to piss me off. a bunch of the guys say its the fuel injector lines but i already checked those and i didnt want to go to much farther in to detail till i got some answers. so if you have in tips or hints or answer or if you need more info. reply back. i would be more than grateful

and its a 1992 GMC sierra. i'm not sure about the engine cuz my dad replace it so i'll need to check on that. i'm thinking i'll replace the fuel filter and clean up the throttle body then if that doesnt help i'll start thinking about replacing the fuel injectors
