I am on the Windstar forum and found this type of universal actuators will work on most Fords with electric door lock Actuators. Keep in mind your mounting and wire colors may differ. My wire color differs from other 2001 Windstars like mine. So a test light is the best tool here. This job will save you a lot of money. Check out my post it will help with finding these Actuators on ebay at a good price and the steps I took along with others who have done this repair.
NOTE!! I am not selling universal actuators on ebay or at all.. Just now know these type of actuators will work on most electric door lock actuated autos. It will also work on vacuum type as well but more wiring is required and a bit more work.. But on most electric powered door locks it as easy as splicing in 2 wires and finding a mounting point. Hope this helps,Gary
