front axle qs?justJEEPit 02-25-2008, 07:03 PM my 1987 chrerokee front axle is completly shot the u joints and wheel bearings are out on both sides so im doing an axle swap (i got another whole cehrokee for parts) and the cherokee im pulling the axle off of dont have the actuator on it but my current axle does. scince the new axle doesnt have it will that effect my 4wheel drive? or can i just plug the old vaccum lines? i gotta do the swap no matter what scince thats my only transportation. please give all the info you can thanks citizen@large 02-25-2008, 09:14 PM well then... get busy doing too much work IMHO. Have you asked yourself how much simpler it would be just to scavenge the u joints and bearings??
