I just purchased a 91 Accord Coupe 5spd for $250 with a blown engine, the car comes with a running engine with a header and the trans in only about a year old.

Other thing that are on the car prior to purchase are.

Adjustable CoilOvers,Performance Exhaust

I was told the Clutch wasn't replaced during the transmistion swap so i was going to put a new clutch in but what would be a good brand to look into that would give me great shifts and nothing to harcore for a dd?

I also would like to know what would be some nice mods that will give me the best resoults over the powerband but wont break the bank ?

I figure i purchased the car for MPG so im hoping to stay around the norm which what i was told was about 30-35mpg on avg , i dont want to loose much if any of that i would like to improve if possible.

Thanks for your help, any and all information is greatly appreciated

Don't go big bore with exhaust or you'll loose low to mid range torque and the gas mileage will tank...small engines with a stock or mild tune need backpressure.

Stock cats are monolithic type and very free flowing if healthy, I'd leave it alone. A good chamber muffler coupled with a K+N drop in replacement panel filter will wake it up a bit in the top end without blowing the low rev drivability....

We'll as of right now the car has the exhaust work done, and that is all that i know? So should i just get a CAI or get the stock setup and leave it at that with a nice aftermarket clutch or stock clutch?

Im a Chevy owner so this is a entierly new world for me, so i can use all the help i can get.

I own a 02 Chevy impala. so this is a big change.

I'm a Chevy fan also....that's why I'm waiting for the Honda guys to chime in, my advice is only general, not brand specific when it comes to
Honda hop-up....

I was going to suggest am LS-4 would wake it up nicely...
