Ok so it snowed and iced...alot where i live. My stupid self let the wipers keep going even though snow was building between them and the hood.

Now when I use my wipers, the drivers side wiper goes so far to the left it actually gets hung on the door frame and the passenger side goes so far to the left it sometimes gets hung on the drivers side wiper.

Please tell me how to fix.

I think im going to have to replace the wiper arms because they are both bent. is that hard?

First, what year is your car. It sounds like you will need to replace the wiper transmission. That is the part the arm goes on. You can not see it unless you remove the arms, and the lower cowl grille. This is usually the part that gets bent.

Perhaps VW, Aero or other cars have same mounting style ? How do you remove this from the pivioting shaft of wiper motor ?
