2002 gmc sputters, and idles hard

My 2002 GMC V6 sometimes idles hard, sometimes won’t start or has trouble starting, and when accelerating it sometimes seems as if it wants to die, it sputters.Any help would be great, battery is fine and plugs and wires are new. No check engine light.

I would probably start by cleaning the Throttle Body and MAF. Probably should also make sure fuel pressure is within specs.

I had the same problem with my 2003 GMC Sierra. It was the throttle body sticking & going out. It may just need a good cleaning. You can try that first. Good luck!

My dads 89 done something similar. It was the gasket between the throttle body and the intake. Since we replaced it, it idles fine and run perfect.
