What should I do? Yesterday was a very cold and icy day. When I turned on the wipers it would move only approx 1 inch and stop. When I lightly touch/move the wiper with my finger the wipers will make one full repetition but then stop at the same spot. Do you think it is a problem with the motor? If so, how do I fix it myself? or do you think it just needs a little oil (not sure how to get to the motor to oil though)?

Any suggestions?

I would think the motor is going bad. Best bet would be to go to a junk yar d see how its assmbled in the car, plus it would be dirt cheap. Should just use some basic tools, remove the cowel and the motor should then be visible.
