92 S10 Blazer 4x4 not engagingMrroelwski 02-09-2008, 08:43 PM Hey guys, I am tinkering with my blazer the 4x4 will not engage. I pulled the dash swith it is working correctly. Chased the wire throught the fire wall have 14.10 on one sie of the connector nothing on the other. there is no change in voltage when the switch is activated either in High or Low. Any ideas? Also as long as I am seeking help. This truck has a digital dash and the oil pressur is at 0. Have a new sending unit but cant find the bad one! I looked back by the distributer adn there is nothing there ot be found! Is it located some where else due to the dig dash? Any help would be a blessing God Bless and thanks in Advance MT-2500 02-10-2008, 10:20 AM What transfer case? How many buttons on switch? Just a high and low or 2W - 4W high -and 4W low? Are you sure about the year? Test voltage at the switch first. You should have 12 volts to it. When the button is pushed it should switch voltage to low or high side wire when held down. Does it do that? On the oil pressure sending unit look on left side of dist. May be hard to see. MT MT-2500 02-10-2008, 07:18 PM In answer to your PM e mail . It is best to keeep questions and answers in your post so everyone can read them and help out. The rocker switch does not switch voltage threw thew fire wall. The high button pushed down switches voltage to pin C-5 on transfer case control module. The low button down switches 12 volts to pin C-14 in the TCCM. Does the lights on the shift buttons light up when switch is pushed or for a bulb check key on? On some you can ground pin J and get the transfer case codes from shift button lights. If any codes post back codes. MT Mrroelwski 02-10-2008, 07:54 PM Thanks for the info on the volt dist. No lights on the switch come on at all. Not even when key is initally switched to acc or start. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
