92 blend door -WHERE is it????pushing300m 02-09-2008, 12:06 AM Location of the blend door actuator??!! Newby to site. Checked all 5163 posts looking for something specific. I have a Chilton manual and a sheet from the Ford dealer that sold the actuator to me. Neither matches what I see under the dash!! Feeling kinda silly. Both hoses to core hot; not plugged. Cold air only. No antifreeze vapor. tripletdaddy 02-09-2008, 05:20 AM My haynes shows it on top of the heater case assembly on the left most rectangular box, housing the heater core. This is to the left of a verticle box that splits in the middle and has a rounded bottom, housing the ac evaporator core. The fan should be mounted to the farthest right in a round box. The actuator has a bundle of wires leaving from the front of it and two wires crossing the top of it to the back of the air housing.. "To remove actuator, disengage it from bracket, lift upwards 1/2" , then move towards you." Hope this helps way2old 02-09-2008, 02:57 PM Here are the directions from AlldataPro. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Loosen the instrument panel and pull it back from the cowl. Remove the blend door actuator electrical connector from the bracket on the evaporator case. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
