S2000 Widebodyrpterpstra 02-06-2008, 09:05 PM Well, I've been down with a cold for a few days, but I'm back at it...:evillol: http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs26/f/2008/037/2/f/S2000X_by_tincap.jpg Comments and criticisms appreciated as always! BG grantrl78 02-06-2008, 09:44 PM That is a damn good drawing. Nice line variation. BG Do you know anything about copyright rules? Is it legal to make a logo with a 50s Chevy panel side pickup in it. xpeed 02-06-2008, 09:50 PM ^ No, I don't think so, unless it's a patented part of the truck. Copyright infringement involves with duplicating photos that is owned by the company. That includes drawing it more than 50% of the photo, color, and such. As long you don't copy a picture exactly like the photo, you should be fine. grantrl78 02-06-2008, 10:17 PM Thanx xpeed. Madish 02-07-2008, 06:39 AM Brutal one, nice and smooth lines, The rims looks strange to me, I personaly would chose something with thinner rays, but I'll see once you finish this one :grinyes: PS: I'm starting to do S2000 too, funny one, so look forward to "The human touch AP1":icon16: Ngati_Pakeha 02-07-2008, 07:14 AM Love it like all your others. But the one thing thats bothering me is the rear wheel in comparison to the rear quarter. I just think the shape of it should be revised rpterpstra 02-07-2008, 08:47 AM Love it like all your others. But the one thing thats bothering me is the rear wheel in comparison to the rear quarter. I just think the shape of it should be revised Ngati, I've been looking at that rear quarter my-self and thinking that it may want to echo the shape of the front fenders a bit. And Madish, the spokes do look like they belong on a 4X4, eh? Revisions on the way! BG rpterpstra 02-07-2008, 11:40 AM Tweaked the rims and fooled around with the rear 3/4. http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs27/f/2008/038/3/5/S2000XRev_by_tincap.jpg What y'all think? EDIT: Hmmmm, I've made the rear wheel cut-out too large...let me adjust that.... BG nicecar 02-07-2008, 11:47 AM weird, i read this then there was a new post already :/ I like, howd you correct pen work? :P And, i would comment more but i need a good look at it. rpterpstra 02-07-2008, 12:18 PM I like, howd you correct pen work? :P I place a sheet over the original, work out the revisions, scan in the revision sheet, then cut & paste in PS over the scanned original. So much easier than using scissors and glue! BG grantrl78 02-07-2008, 12:53 PM Dude you used photoshop. :) It is now officially not a real drawing. My duty to let you know. HotRodKristina 02-07-2008, 01:10 PM Dude you used photoshop. :) It is now officially not a real drawing. My duty to let you know.:icon16::iceslolan:evillol: Ngati_Pakeha 02-07-2008, 03:29 PM Yep loving that rear end, it totally suits. Awesome looking car. Definately a great a take on the S2000 rpterpstra 02-07-2008, 03:37 PM Dude you used photoshop. :) It is now officially not a real drawing. My duty to let you know. Well, I've tried the traditional cut and paste, but it was a bugger to clean the glue off of the monitor screen. =O BG Aryanenzo 02-07-2008, 07:41 PM HOLY CRUD! I would LOVE to see your version of my Casca! rpterpstra 02-07-2008, 10:00 PM Ngati_Pakeha 02-07-2008, 10:36 PM OMG that is so sweet! Great work. So......how much? :P rpterpstra 02-07-2008, 10:44 PM OMG that is so sweet! Great work. So......how much? :P Oh man, just fitting the Mugen Dominator V8 would break most bank accounts! Not that the Dominator made it to Canada... :( Aaaah, the joys of drawing up your dreams, eh? :D BG Ngati_Pakeha 02-07-2008, 10:51 PM I very rarely seean S2000 let alone a tuned one where i am from. Love drawing my dream cars, am working on a V10 wrx at the moment, we definately post it later Blip 02-09-2008, 07:40 AM Nice work the design, not a fan of that design package, but do like the artwork. The bits of reflection on the hood and glass make the whole image pop. Nymphantom 02-09-2008, 08:08 AM Looks great!!! Sir_smoke_a_lot 02-14-2008, 02:50 PM Here's a S2000 I've drawn for a costumer: http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/8247/pict0003largejs3.jpg grantrl78 02-14-2008, 03:40 PM Costumer? Does he specialize in halloween stuff? :) Cool marker rendering. The headlight, (viewer's right) looks a little skewed. Kind of like it has a bent frame. Also those wheels are a little out of round. Sir_smoke_a_lot 02-14-2008, 03:44 PM LOL, yes i got a chicken costume instead of a payment :D I meant customer. I'm from germany, so my english isn't that perfect  Yeah, you're right. I had to do it in very little time so it isn't perfect, but it is nice, I think. GirlBear 03-02-2008, 11:29 PM Costumer? Does he specialize in halloween stuff? :) Cool marker rendering. The headlight, (viewer's right) looks a little skewed. Kind of like it has a bent frame. Also those wheels are a little out of round. That was funny. lofl SGrace575 03-15-2008, 08:28 PM Great drawing, the perspectives are perfect. I'm not a big fan of that tuner car look, though... the front and hood look a little bit too busy, but it still looks good. Much better and more aggressive styling than the regular S2000. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
