I cant!!! The gas pedal appears to be bent so I can't get my foot across the gas and the brake. Is there a good way to bend this thing in place??

Edit it is bent so that it is closer to the floor than it should be.

Im not to sure if the pedal is actually "bent" that would seem a little difficult. the pedals on these cars make it difficult to hit the brakes and gas at the same time. Might want to try some pedal covers or something. I noticed the pedals being to far apart.

well. The other galant I had had the pedal much further from the floor and the other vr4 i know of a guy actually coached me through heel-toe not to mention. Really actually the pedal looks out of place. I just don't want to break something. If it came up 1-2 inches it would work. I just couldn't brake gas and drift in the snow this last week. Very frusterating.

There might be something to adjust the action of it, but it might just be that way... I can heel-toe on my Talon without even turning my foot sideways (:D) but its far enough away on the Cavalier that its VERY hard to do.

It is not just "that way" it is not where it was back in the day. Is there a good way to bend it or adjust it into place. If there are adjustments. Where would they be?

Might I also note that when the pedal is down it does not hit wot? It has no slack in the line. Any tighter and it would idle fast. Any looser and there would be no to end at all.
