1975 XJ6 Repairs!

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forums, but I was looking for some help and advice on a car that I would like to purchase. I'd prefer help from somebody in Australia, but any information is welcome (I'm hopeless when it comes to cars).
The vehicle is a Jaguar 1975 XJ6 Series II L, and is selling for a rock-bottom price. The seller states that this is because it has a few minor problems with it, which are as follows:
- Needs lower ball joint replaced
- Needs tail-shaft bearing
- Will need valve or head-work on the motor later.
Everything else about the car appears to be in great condition, so I was wondering roughly how much these repairs will set me back, and if the car is still worth the price ($3,200 AUD)
Thanks!

It sounds like a good price and those repairs are not bank-breaking. If it's been standing or stored for a while it may need other work, particularly brakes and gearbox.
