95 quad 4 spark plug removal?

ok so i have the target in my sites and if your familiar with the V6 Quad 4 not sure if its a 2.3 or 2.4 but they are in like a creves and im afraid to take a pliar to them and what not so give me tips on how to get to them if i remove something or what ever, for those who dont understand i included a picture just click on it to enlarge it, i know u guys can hep me.

they are hiden behind/under the bar under the top of the quad 4.

remove the 4 bolts on top of the cover and they are under there.

quad4 is a 4 cylinder.. not a v6. dont be surprised if you only find 4 plugs under the IDI covor. at any rate, if they dont come out on the socket, (best to use spark plug socket with rubber insert to hold the plug) then just pull them out with pliers. you dont have to mega grip on them and crack the plugs, just be gentle, take your time, and youll be fine.

wow so its 4 valves per cylinder, im about to go in in a bit and put this newly gained knowledge to work, ill share my experiences upon return

do i just pull them out, twist them out or what i couldnt tell it was so narrow i flt like they arent supposed to just be pulled out. what do i do

the plugs? get your ratchet down in there with a spark plug socket and extension, unscrew em, then they should come right out.

dam i dont have a sparkplug socket is there an equivilent?

should be 5/8 or 11/16 deepwell socket.

Get a spark plug socket. If you use a 5/8 deep socket you run the risk of breaking the plug, plus its a real b*tch to get the plug out of the hole after you loosen it.

true that. it can be done without, but i recommend spending the 3 or 4 bux on the right socket.
