Its been a while since I've posted but I've been busy taking my engine apart and fixing and replacing old and wornout parts. It turns out that two rollor/lifters weren't in its place and was knocked out of position, making no air fuel mixture go into the cylender of 7 and 8. Plus replacing the wornout gaskets of the engine heads. But I finaly got it back together, But to a disapointment. The engine wont start. The fuel pump is working, there is oil in the engine, all electrical connection are connected. I get a charge from the battery. It just seems like the engine isn't recieving any fuel. But I may be wrong about it. Did I miss something. I have a video link at the bottom. The video is kind of dark but the sound should be a way of telling what the problem my be. I took pictures of the engine while I was taking it apart that I'll post later. Take a look at the vid and let me know any info that may come to mind. Thanks.

To me it sounds more like you're not getting spark ..... maybe check the crank sensor, coil packs, and make sure the fuel line is bled(personal experience there) before letting the coil packs try to fire. Just an idea of what I'm hearing but maybe someone else has another idea. Would be best if you had a scanner on it so we could see what wasn't responding.

Re-check to see if you are missing spark or fuel. It is close to impossible to tell from sound alone which you are missing. Then recheck all your connections. When you find what is missing, it will narrow down the search quite a bit.

Whats a good way to check if I'm getting a spark and fuel?

How do you bleed the fuel line?

Pull spark plug wire and insert spark checker(available from parts house fairly cheap). Crank engine and look at the spark checker for blue spark.
Install fuel pressure gauge on fuel rail and see if pressure is about 42 psi with key on. Best and safest way to bleed is with the pressure gauge installed. There should be a pressure release on the gauge. Turn key on, turn key off, press release button. repeat as needed.
Are you POSITIVE you have the timing chains installed correctly? From your video, I feel the timing is off. Just a guess there tho.

I put markings on the chain and gears just in case I accidently moved the camshafts while uninstalling the Heads. Im pretty shure I put them the same way they came out. I'll see about getting those tools to bleed and check for spark.

.......Just took out the spark plugs and they are all darkend and black, it looks like oil. I maby just carelessly didn't notice them getting dirty with oil when un/installing them. I'll try some new fresh ones to see if the problem was fixed.

Well still no start. :shakehead

I just don't know what to do. I'm in love with this car, but everyone is telling me to let it go :uhoh:

I'll pick up on it later to see what else I can do to fix it. Right now I've taken off the left head cover to see if I can move the camshaft about 5 to 10 degrees advanced. I think (THINK) I may have installed the camshaft bad. But I'll pick it up later. For now I'm going to post the pics of the engine like I said earlier.

Remember, this is an old 92 CV. So the engine looks old and used. Pardon the mess.

Note: There is water in the piston cylenders becuase they were filled when I removed the head. Water wasn't already in the cylender before removing it. I just snaped a shot the next second after removing it.
