Hi all, I had gotton a direct bolt on converter for $139 online. I wanted to know if there is any diy for this oproject that shows any pictures for us dump people. Pretty funny how i grew up building cars and race cars but as i get older im loosing touch with my younger self and getting scared i cant do it lol. Well the converter has a 2 bolt flange and at the other end its like cut off, Like if it slides into the muffler pipe. I have a 2.0 97 breeze. it came with a clamp and the hardware to mount. Is there a web site i can go to see install help on this?

This is not a very difficult operation as long as you have ramps or jack stands. Start at the muffler and take down the exhaust system and pull it apart where your direct fit cat pipe ends. Dont foget to unplug your O2 sensor before trying to remove the cat. Take off the 2 manifold bolts and springs and it will drop right out. Make sure you have the donut gasket on the new cat that seals up to the manifold ( if you dont have this see if you can recycle the old one they are very expensive). It is also recommended that you replace the mounting springs which are readily available at auto zone, or Advanced Auto. Slide it all together re hang it, clamp it and remember to plug your O2 sensor back in.
