problem with a 03 Grandam GT

My wife has a four foor Grandam GT and she got in a spot of trouble with it today. First off it was -35 Celcius out, she had her car heater plugged in and she started her car up to let it warm up some. While it was warming up she turned the wipers on to clear some snow off the windows and suddenly the dash went dead, and all her idiot lights came on, BUT, the car was still running. So she shut the ignition off and then turned the car on again, now all the interior dash lights and everything work, but none of the gauges work and the radio won't turn on (but it lights up). I took all the fuses out and they look good, so it's not a fuse. Any ideas guys.

Yeah typical symptoms of it being realy freakin cold !!
It should straighten up when it gets fully warmed inside the cabin area.

let me know if it doesnt work out.

I haven't looked into her car anymore because I went to start it today and take it to an underground parking spot where it is warmer. However the battery has frozen, so I have that inside right not thawing out, when it is thawed out I'm going to charge it up again and then see what is up with her car.

I put the battery back in today after charging it and it started, but the remote start won't work. Now everything else is working though. We will have to get the remote start checked out.
