we need a good non-leaking fuel pressure regulator from the fuel injector rail of a late 80's GM car with 2.8 or 3.1L engine multiport MPFI injection system

the regulator is the smaller round metal thingy mounted on the fuel injector rail and has a smaller vacuum hose running to it from the throttle body unit assembly

how much to 62656

thanks!

The regulator is the rectangular piece w/2 fuel lines protruding from it that the round thingy (as you put it) is made into the middle of.
I don't know if I can help w/procurement as I live in WA st. and right now all of my parts cars are under 2-3 ft. of snow with sub-zero temps.

no it is round on these 2.8L

mine is round

single vacuum hose

old style

no rectangle thing

if the round vacuum thing is not the regulator then what is it ?

do tell!

for i have never seen a MPFI regulator that was not round and didnt have a vacuum hose to it

i think you are talking about the entire fuel injector rail assembly

i am not however

we just need the regulator from one, not the entire rail assembly

snow sucks

haha i know all about snow trust me :D

and ice storms

and tornados
and floods

and large hail

and below 0 temps to around 100 temps each year

and so on

all the time here

its sleeting sideways here right now, a tornado funnel cloud went by earlier when it was 57 and full sun out then it got real dark and dropped to well below freezing in a matter of minutes

it was -6 a few days ago

its insane

welcome to IL where if you wait a few minutes the weather will change dramatically in an instant virtually

thanks
If you look at the link i posted for a new one, you will see what it looks like.

EDIT Ok, you do seem to be right, according to this link the regulator does come apart from that block, i didnt think so because not one place i have saw them sold it seperate from the block, so either they are just getting more $$ for a part you dont need, or making them so it doesnt come off.

Same here. Haven't seen one that way before either.
Spent a winter back there in Great Lakes area in early ''70's.
