hi its been a while since i had a problem to ask in here but for past week my tranny been slipping and yesterday i couldnt even get it up to 40km without reving the shit out of the engine but then it bites in ang goes but then goes back to slipping if i let go of the gas

now question is would it be something broken inside or just the fliter needs to be replaced? i know the fluid still red and still full.

i remember reading on here someone posted that if a garage says if the fluid smells burnt then ur tranny cookedo r something but someone else posted thats crap all tranny oil smells burnt after a while.

also i didnt wanna do the tranny flushing as i read on articles in the past for the 3.4 engine the tranny flush once its done it some how damages the tranny and its cooked after it was 6 weeks or 6 months i cant remember. For what reasons i have no idea why it be ruinedl. But any ideas be good

and how come no tranny has ever had a Drain plug, be so nice to drain properly lol

I'd change the fluid and filter then try some auto-rx in that tranny of yours. Drive it for 1000 miles and change the F/F again.

From what I understand about transmissions (which isn't a whole lot) the clutch plates get varnished and slip over time. Being you are in Canada look for some Sea Foam Trans Tune and try that. Sea Foam makes different products different make sure it says Trans tune.
