:grinno: I don't think it would just "work" , without several hundred hours of fabrication.

Their is a 2000-2002 Grand Am that's rear wheel drive, and I think it has an LS motor. Thier's a link around here somewhere, think it's up on CarDomain.....
A newer Grand Am with RWD and a V8....that would be nice !! :evillol:

I dont even think the Eldorado trans would even bolt to the NS... :dunno:
But you would need to measure the subframe on the NorthStar and see how much bigger it is then the GA subframe then figure out how to engineer everything to make it work.

Good Luck and take pics !!

Eldorado's actually came with northstars (they were FWD), so it would come together in a matching engine-trans combination.

You'd have a heck of a time getting it to fit though (the Northstar is a big honkin engine).

It still would require quite a bit of fabrication though.

it wouldnt real be worth it unless you just had the part lying around. Fabrications not cheap, especialy something custom as this would be.

If you are going to do it go with AWD  that would be super! :D

yeah, I can only advise it if you have a totalled Cadillac with a good engine, a clean grand am with a blown engine, a lot of space, a lot of equipment, and a lot of time on your hands.
