why buy 07 at enterprise=?jamesmetairie 01-23-2008, 10:59 AM decisions ,decisions i,m looking at 2007 taurus "se" (32,000 miles)at enterprise car sales for about $11,400. they give a vehicle history plus one year warranty and a buy back agreement. sounds like a good deal to me. BUT = i,d prefer any "ses" or "sel",(duratec). what do you guys think ? Willyum 01-23-2008, 02:24 PM You'll find the '07's are without a lot of features found on previous Taurus models. I bought a Blue Oval Certified Taurus at a dealership 4 years ago. I shopped Enterprise and found them to be rigid on their price. Mine was an '02 SES w/14,000 mi. They wanted $14,500, I offered $12,000 and got it for $12,500. Enterprise would not negotiate. Ford Certified come with 75,000 extended powertrain warranty. If you like Enterprise you should check the value out before you sit down seriously with them @ www.kbb.com. drdisque 02-04-2008, 07:19 PM They didn't make duratec '07s That's way too high for a former rental with that kind of mileage. MyTaurus8AChevy 02-04-2008, 11:47 PM We've got a '04 with a Duratec and it is the best engine that we've ever driven. Highly recommended. Regarding the enterprise price, it seems a bit too high. Our father is looking for an 06-07 and he's found plenty with much better pricing than quoted above. You'll love the car though. road_rascal 02-06-2008, 08:06 AM That price seems a little high for what's available here in the Twin Cities. I've seen '07s with less mileage for around 10K, although I don't know what the trim levels are. Some good deals out there if you want a reliable basic car. mwt47 02-08-2008, 08:58 PM I would choose a private owner 05 with a Duratec over an 07 fleet car Vulcan. 05 was the last year for the Duratec. Most car dealers in my part of the country don't use kbb they use NADA Mike :smokin: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
