Oldsmobile 1995 Cutlass Doors Beating Me Downfivevs 01-21-2008, 10:40 AM I have the same problem with a car just like yours, except it'a a 95 model. Everything seems to work fine except the doors simply will not open. Any ideas? Thanks http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/statusicon/user_online.gif I have this vehicle which is just not co-operating with me. I have had problems with the rear doors & the front windows not opening since we bought this car last year. The car runs great, but it is a beating when you cannot get to the back seats of this car , short of jumping over the front seats. My other half has to sometimes pick up the little people from school & they are now on the "Let's get these doors fixed, bandwagon". I really need any help I can get from anyone on this matter. I wanted to say that I had to really work hard at removing the rear panels and getting the door to open at one time. I could actually open them from the outside for about 1 or 2 days. I am now back to square one on this matter. I have gotten some good advice from the good folks on this website before and I sure would appreciate anything that can help me on this matter. maxwedge 01-21-2008, 11:57 AM More than likely the door lock mechanisms are rusty/corroded and at times will not unlock, common problem, also check for bent linkage rods, to fix this the locks must be removed and freed up or replaced. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
