95 z34 hard to start, then diesbgehke 01-19-2008, 11:24 PM When I try to start it sounds like it backfires in the intake. When it does start, it runs around 3 grand and then dies. Ive checked the timming belts and look to have been replace, (not 13 years old) car has 130.000 on it. Ive checked the EGR valve and not stuck, scan tool says both Quad Driver modules are bad? Coolant, Purge valve, upshift,. There are 8 differant places to check that the quad drivers recieve input from. But what im i looking for? what is the fuel pressure for the 3.4 engine? bgehrke 01-25-2008, 09:53 PM Thanks for reading my post but I think I have found the problem. When installing a new starter I found that the crank position sensor wire has been ripped out of the sensor? mmmm Whats this, looks like the WIRE harness that runs along the cross member has been chewed on by something, ( a chain? ) Where is my son?
