k this is a z6 on a 5thgen civic. i got a car where the rubber on the bottom of the spark plug wires ripped off and got stuck on the spark plug. you know how skinny that piping is going down to the spark plug so theres no room to get pliers down there its like wall to wall pretty much with that spark plug wire rubber on the spark plug. so i need help in thinking of a way to get the rubber piece off so i can take out the spark plug or now its more like i just need to be able to put a spark plug wire on it.

i was thinking about taking off that whole long cylindral piping that goes around the spark plug, does anyone know how to take that off if its even possible to take it off

thanks

for me i would take a long pointy object(thin knife, or testlight or even a sharpened cloths hanger and jab it.)its rubber so try to poke it an pull it with something.:)

Try taking the rubber insert out of your spark plug socket...will that work to get in there and take the plug out?
