I took this as a relaxing job when I get tired of 2003GA.

Kit is Tameo, really a basic one, only some 60-70 parts in total.

I started with cleaning everything and dryfitting for corrections.

Everything is shaped nicely but few things are not done properly.

1. Panel lines are very wide, I didn't want to bother with that to much, I just deepened them in order to get thin deep line, will all the paint and clear cover original wide line....I don't know

2. Radiator panels are to big (wide) and they don't fit the hole. There are two solutions either you can dig out part of the intake to make the radiator fit in or cut a bit of radiator to fit original hole.

3. Decal that go around the windscreen is part of the red decal that goes to nose and you can not clear coat everything after decals. I still must decide what to do, cut the decal or paint the windscreen.

While I wait for paint and carbon decals I primed everything and painted stuff that will be black. Body was primed, puttied a bit and re-primed several times (with sending in between) to get nice and smooth surface.

I have done the wheels also, I had a lot of problems with decals, they just didn't want to confirm, in the end I made some strange things but it came out nicely.

Great start I will be following too. Looks like you opened up the air intake on the air box that's a nice touch. Did you just drill a hole into the wing end plates insert a small piece of brass to hold them in place for the dry fit? One last thing whose CF are you going to use and where you getting it from?
Thanks

Thanks Dave, I used larger drill bit to make hole in the intake and then carefully sanded to shape with proxxon. Wing end plates are mounted on pins that were allready on the wings, I will add one more rod at the back of the end plate to make them more tight. I have ordered SMS 1/43 CF from Hiroboy even thou I thought about 1/24 high deff carbon for wings end plates since they are almost black.

I continued to work on the interior since the paint and CF are on their way. I used seat belts from MP4/4 kit since Tameo didn't include ones in this kit.
No.11 blade for size

Gear shift lever is pin, shaped on proxxon, maybe a bit to big but looks good.

And just a bit of my usual mess :D

Damn, that's small and very cleanly done

I agree the shifter is a little large.

Final update, decals are on, all decals, I wanted to try those Tameo red decals and I must say they are perfect. It just need final clear coat and some polishing. All parts are done and after clear there is only final assembly.

I really enjoyed this one, really relaxing despite the scale.

Looking good

BTW, did it come from the manufacturer with tobacco decals or are they aftermarket?

That is small... great work at such a scale. I dabbled with a 1/24th Revell a while back and even that was just too small for me. Kudos. Bill

Tameo provides illegal decals in black wrap, so you can not see them until you open that wrap. This is cool way to slightly bend the rules :iceslolan

Damn I got your secret. You're ever at job so it's just impossible you do all this stuff: fioranos, GA, now the little jewel. Or your wife do those for you or you and Zeljko (that we never heard) log in with your name :D

Great, outstanding finishing & rims

Thanks guys

Ariel I have few full detail Tameo kits but.... I am to scared even to look at them :D

Gio you got me know, I live double life, I never sleep and my wife is octopus :D

But back to subject, I was so excited to see this one under nice coat of clear that I couldn't waited any longer.

Here it is, it is still not polished and sanded.

It is really hard to take good photo of such a small subject and specially in white but this one shows that good and throughout preparation is must for good finish.

The finish turned out real nice looks great with the clear applied. What type of clear did you use?

2K automotive clear from Glasurit, with quick hardener and mix ratio

example

2ml clear
1ml hardener
3ml thiner (rally up to user, I like it more liquid so I take some 40-60% of thiner)

So got it near the end.

I made few cardinal mistakes in the end assembly but I am much wiser now :D

Still need some cleaning, few touch ups, rear view mirrors and visor.

Looks good Sasa very impressive work. What did you use for the carbon fiber on the rear wing end plates?

Thanks Dave, I used SMS 1/43 CF and I must say it is not very good, maybe I used just a bit to much microsol but it destroyed paint on decal, so I had to redo for few times to get it right.
