'03 Venture AWD "Clunk"ImpalaRat 01-14-2008, 01:43 PM I have an '03 Venture with AWD. About a month ago I heard a noise when making a slow sharp right turn. This happened several more times and since the van is still covered by warranty (GM extended it due to some other issues), I brough it to the dealer. They said the tie rod ends were frozen and replaced both. Two days later, I am driving and the exact same noise is still there. This time I actually fell something under my feet on the floorboard. BAck tot he dealer where they say the sway bar bushings were bad and are replaced. One day after gettin the van back, I drive and the exact same issue is still present. The service guy told me he is stumped. Has any one had any issue like this? Or any suggestions? To me it feels like it is in the front right (strut, brake cliper ??????) Thanks aintnopirate 01-15-2008, 04:44 PM Does it only clunk once while turning or is it maybe a repeatative clicking sound while turning. If so you may have a bad CV joint. ImpalaRat 01-16-2008, 03:38 PM Only when turning. Definately not a CV joint. I'm thinking ball joints or control arm bushings ImpalaRat 02-01-2008, 06:28 PM vAN BACK FROM DEALER.
