Compression Reading on 99 Grand Am 3.4L

What should the Compression Readings on 99 Grand Am 3.4L be in PSI?

It depends on many factors and how the test was done.

It could be 150PSI, or it could be 100psi, or it could be as low as 50psi is the rings and valves are shot.

How many miles ?
Have you done this test already ,and what were the results ???

I am looking to buy one from the wreckers with between 60,000 to 100,000 miles on it and I would like to know what would be considered acceptable results on one of these used motors. Also what would good oil pressure be?

I wouldnt buy anything that wasnt at least 100psi with no more then 30% differance between cylinders, and around the 50-60K mile mark.

Oil pressure should be 15PSI @1100 rpms.
