1991 Deville won't start. Engine is a 4.9 automatic. Is there a place to plug in a code reader? Tried the "off/warmer" to pull codes and not getting anything, meaning car doesn't seem to be going into code mode. The car is turning over. Checked fuse box and only middle row is showing hot. Since this isn't my car (my son just bought it) and I have absolutely no knowledge of this car, PLEASE be very detailed if you have any advice on what I need to be looking for or checking out. I really appreciate any help!!

Under the center of the dash is the OBD port to plug in a code reader.

I have looked under the whole dash. I am not finding a plug. Is it covered with something or anything like that?

Thanks!

OK, we found the port. Someone had shoved it waaay up under the dash. My code reader is giving me 52 Keep Alive Memory Reset. Any clue what that is?

Never mind...I found the code. That is the only code I got. OK, what we are seeing now is the car is not getting any spark. It will turn over and crank, kind of like it is out of gas (it's not). Where do I start...anyone???

That just means that the battery was dead or disconnected and the PCM memory has been reset.
I'd look into the basics for your no-start condition. Fuel, spark, etc.
