I overheated one morning and shut it down. I almost got it home then ran out of gas. I mean I really ran out of gas. I filled my tank, and was then getting 12mpg. So I took my intake down, saw 3/4 inch of gas where my injectors sit, taken off the fuel rails, checked the fuel pressure regulator and found that I had one bad o-ring and the other one was going. Put everything back together and replaced the front plugs( I will get to the back ones in 6 days when I have time off, I work 13 hour days), used the same wires and cleaned the injectors. Then I looked at the intake and saw gas pouring out by the table spoon back into the air filter hose. I noticed that the ECM was loose and I cleaned it and tightened it back down. The leaking stopped. It runs better at a high RPM and idles like crud. I have to put it in a lower gear to and keep the rpms above 2k for it not to start sputtering bad. I am going to spray some carb cleaner around the hoses to see if it's vaccum. Any other ideas?

Check and clean your IAC and see if that doesnt clear up the idle.

Just doing the front and not the back old plug's, that can make it run very poor-ly.

Does it do this more when you are driving down the road or just sitting idle or at all times ?
