hello,

i noticed my problem about a year ago when i hit my brakes lightly. what happens is that the pedel will sink down a little bit, there will be a loud clanking noise from under the hood and my brakes will quickly grab and not grab until stopped. It does it more often when it is cold or when i have to make a quick turn and brake. When i mean quickly, not to the point where abs has to kick in. I know what abs feels like when it works. any response would be greatly appreciated.

my father went to look at the entire braking system and he said that everything was tight.

Noises can be difficult to find and diagnose.

With out a visual inspection and a proper scan
Could be something in the braking/ABS related may not be.
Could have debrie in the wheel speed sensor causing the strange braking.
