02, pontiac grand am se, 2.2L, manual
i changed my wheels (15 inches) with 17 inch ones, 225/45/17 a few weeks ago. and now,, i'm having these three lights on after about 100 or so miles. they go away after I turn off the engine and let it sit for a few mins and turn on again. is it possible that this is because ABS calibration is off or is something broken ??? where should I go to get this ABS recalbriated? I got the alignment too after changing my wheels.. so.. should that guy have calbriated the ABS also?
thanks so much
ernesto.

You'll need to check the codes. As long as all 4 tires are the same size, they shouldn't cause that.

Yeah get it scanned with an ABS scan tool !!
But I'd check the plug ins and wires to the wheel sensors. They could have easliy been knocked off(or tampered with) or a wire broken.
The ABS isnt what gets adjusted when adding larger wheels, just the speed'o calibration and its realy easy with the right scan tool(s).

Some auto part stores will scan your car for free, though not all have ABS capable scan tools.
I'm sure if you called around some smaller auto repair shops will also scan your car for cheap if not free.

ok.. i haven't replaced anything yet and the lights just went away itself today after i washed my car... is it a good thing or bad?? i should be safe as long as lights are off, right??
PS: i kinda raced an eclipse on the highway today.. i said kinda because it wasn't actually a race.. i was trying to overtake him and we were side by side for a while.. then... i dunno how it got started,.. but, we started "racing". my 2.2L grand am don't go any faster than 105 mph!!!(& i lost) is it because there's a speed cap or is it the top speed of the car???

It should be fine for a short time.
And yes your GA is limited to 105-110mph, the GT is limited to 120-125.
Both capable of 140-150 under the right conditions and with an aftermarket PCM.
