I have a 97 420a that i just replaced the head, timing belt, coil pack and plugs, all new;plug wires are somewhat new and starter was tested as good.
So I started it up about three times to make sure of any possible problems i might have before i finished a couple of minor things(motor mount, acc. pulley, ect..).... BUT.... when i took the first test drive , grinning ear to ear, everything was running fine. Then i turned the car off and it would't start back up..>shot in the heart<:banghead: . Towed the fucker back and though some testing found that the two outside spark plugs are not firing. The fuel is going great. I'm bumfuzzled right now. Only thing i can think of is getting a new coil pack and trying that or maybe its the ecu. How can i fix this shit?!Can i even get the ecu tested? Mucho help needed...mmm.. muchaco:runaround:

Welcome to AF

I would test the coil pack to see if its still good. Other than that I maybe change the ECU out to see if that fixes the problem. You cant test them for you just have to either buy one of borrow one if you can find it.
