Just looking at a friends 3.1 ciera. His heater core has been bypassed. He got the car this way. I would think the core is probably in trouble, but am not taking it apart to find out till it really leaks??

Brings me to the next problem. I believe this has at least three heater hoses. Could anyone tell me 1. where the in and out for the core are located? 2. the routing. Pick any starting point you wish.

3 different hoses are mentioned in parts catalogs. Apparently metal hardlines are also in use. Someone has joined the two hoses that would normally go to the core to each other with a fitting and It was nitetime and I couldnt find the core in and out.
