Hi!

After my car, a 1990 Olds Cutlass Cruiser SL (international edition) 3.3 liters / 204ci stood in the garage for 2 years I can't open the hood. The release mechanism of the hood latch seems to be wedged or jammed. I tried to open it with force but I almost messed the realese lever up. I also tried to open it with another person create some pression precise above the hood latch or even standing on it to push it down. Nothing happened. Please help me somehow

Might have a broke latch under the hood, or your cable is damaged/broke. Are you able to reach up under the front end and get to the release or the cable ??

You might have to cut the cable then manualy release it from up front and then replace it.
