94 civic 1.5. ran car out of gas. filled tank. found that the car has no spark. replaced cap rotor, and plugs. ohmed out the coil and it is good. i also have a 92 civic that i have been swaping parts out. the parts are good because the other civic runs. ive swaped the followin parts: ecu, ignition control. i've swaped them and put them on the 92 civic and it runs. i've got a manual and i've gone thru most of the troubleshooting but still nothing.
can someone help me? please

welcome to the world on honda's notoriously crappy distributors. it got nothing to do with ecu's or coils. honda just couldn't seem to get that one thing right. im on my 3 one with mpfi and 5 one over all. well soon to be fifth one. try replacing that and it should solve your problem.

thank you maxassassin i didnt want to believe that the whole distributor needed to be replaced but that is exactly what the problem was thank you! thank you! thank you! its been about 4 days of pissing with this damn thing. now i can sleep easer knowing what the problem is now just have to part the cheeks and buy the distributor. thanks again maxassassin!
