I went out to start my car tonight and noticed the headlights and rear lights were not working. Like just a week ago I noticed it appeared as if my driver side head light was about to die, as it was getting dim, but this light was replaced just three months ago and the passenger head light had been fine, and I have not replaced it and I've owned the car for three years. Before the lights stopped functioning, the passenger light was very bright and the drivers light was very dim.

This sounds like an electrical problem to me, since the rear and head lights are not working. The only lights that are working on the car are the break lights, reverse lights, and parking lights. Also, the high beam icon (part of the driver side "control panel") is on and I cannot deactivate it, even though the lights are not on at all. Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like a faulty headlight switch. Those multy function switches can do funny things when they malfunction
