How do you replace an Air Filter on a 1998 Chevy Venture?
I unfastened the clips but due to clutter cannot open it far enough to remove and replace the filter. Is there something easy that I am missing, or is this just poorly designed?

Thanks,

On my 99, I've found it easier to remove the large rubber ribbed air intake hose between the air filter housing and engine inlet. Once the hose clamps, electric connections and vacuum hose connection are loosened you can wiggle the hose free and out. With the hose gone you can open the air filter side door enough to get the filter out.

Good Luck...
