Now I've noticed other's have had this problem but didn't know if anyone has found out anything new here......

For a while now I've noticed that as I'm going up hill or really any bit of an incline she starts to almost rev up n down, making the RPM's bounce up and down like crazy it runs fine otherwise and if I hit the gas while it's doing this it stops? is it my transmission, or my injectors, or do I just need a tune up? no idea here and any info would definitely be appriciated

Did you ever find anything out about this? I have a 2001 that is doing the basic same thing. Surges ONLY when starting up hill and it shifts from overdrive to 3rd gear, will surge from around 1750 rpm to 2200 or so and do it about 6 - 8 times and then it is fine there after. I would be interested to find out how you fixed this. thanks much.
