96 ES300 Keyless Entry Programming???tigerpilot 02-12-2003, 02:40 PM Help!! I need the key programming instructions for my '96 ES300. I have them for 1998 but I think they are different 'cause they don't work. rheeric 05-17-2003, 12:41 PM Hello. Did you ever figure this out! I have a 1993 and need the same info? ssdave 06-23-2003, 11:07 AM 1993 KEYS CAN NOT BE PROGRAMED 1996 SHOULD BE AS FOLLOWS UNLOCK DOORS- OPEN DRIVERS DOOR-INSERT KEY IN IGNITION & PULL OUT-LOCK & UNLOCK DOORS 5 TIMES W/DRIVERS SWITCH-CLOSE DOOR-OPEN DOOR-LOCK & UNLOCK 5 TIMES AGAIN-INSERT KEY IN IGNITION & TURN ON THEN OFF ( DO NOT START CAR ) PUSH BUTTON ON KEY FOR 2 SEC.-CLOSE DOOR-OPEN DOOR &PUSH BUTTON AGAIN ! THIS SHOULD WORK , IF NOT MAKE SURE BATTERY IN KEY IS GOOD. Brother Kain 10-29-2003, 03:54 PM 2 Quick Questions. Does this method work for a 1995 ES300? And the second question is: does this work for a key that is not cut for the car? I have a different keyless entry key; can I simply follow this procedure, using the working key to turn the ignition? Thanks 1993 KEYS CAN NOT BE PROGRAMED 1996 SHOULD BE AS FOLLOWS UNLOCK DOORS- OPEN DRIVERS DOOR-INSERT KEY IN IGNITION & PULL OUT-LOCK & UNLOCK DOORS 5 TIMES W/DRIVERS SWITCH-CLOSE DOOR-OPEN DOOR-LOCK & UNLOCK 5 TIMES AGAIN-INSERT KEY IN IGNITION & TURN ON THEN OFF ( DO NOT START CAR ) PUSH BUTTON ON KEY FOR 2 SEC.-CLOSE DOOR-OPEN DOOR &PUSH BUTTON AGAIN ! THIS SHOULD WORK , IF NOT MAKE SURE BATTERY IN KEY IS GOOD. rheeric 10-29-2003, 04:46 PM I believe it should. It does not matter on the cut of the key. I do know that like my year car (1993) has a chip in the key and near the antenna and has to have matching chips to work Brother Kain 11-03-2003, 03:45 PM Well I tried this method on my 1995 ES300, and I can confirm that it definately will work. I now have 2 master remote keys that work for my car, even though I got them off of a different car, so the cut is totally different - at least the keyless entry works. Thanks!!! 1993 KEYS CAN NOT BE PROGRAMED 1996 SHOULD BE AS FOLLOWS UNLOCK DOORS- OPEN DRIVERS DOOR-INSERT KEY IN IGNITION & PULL OUT-LOCK & UNLOCK DOORS 5 TIMES W/DRIVERS SWITCH-CLOSE DOOR-OPEN DOOR-LOCK & UNLOCK 5 TIMES AGAIN-INSERT KEY IN IGNITION & TURN ON THEN OFF ( DO NOT START CAR ) PUSH BUTTON ON KEY FOR 2 SEC.-CLOSE DOOR-OPEN DOOR &PUSH BUTTON AGAIN !
