I have a supra mk3 and am thinking about a test pipe as my first upgrade. I have an 87, non turbo, stock everything. I figured since its cheap and Ill get good horsepower increases, its worthed(only $25). Let me know if you guys think its worth it on a non turbo stock exhaust, and if I will notice a difference.

u take off the catalytic convertor with flanged pipe that bolts in place of the catalytic convertor (doesnt restrict exhaust flow like catalytic convertor does), they're cheap and very effective, probably the best Dollars:Horsepower ratio mod in the world unless someone gives you a part for free :D

i assume the C.C doesn't have an emission sensor to cause the engine light to stay on when you cut it out. Just asking b/c my Subaru has two cc's and only one has an emission sensor.

the sube is different.

there shouldn't be an o2 sensor in the supra cat, and it makes a nice difference to have a test pipe in... not amazing on my prelude, but it feels different...

there's ways to get around it on the sube though...
