Alright so heres the deal...my sister rearended someone a new beatle yesterday on a off ramp. She was distracted with a cell phone. Only minor damage to each person. Couple of cracked bumpers and her hood is bent and open a bit.
-But on top of it all her airbags went off.

Mind you my dad got her this 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE w/52k miles on it last November. The 3rd day she got it she got nailed on the side by some woman in chicago with an Explorer and wrecking her 2 driver side doors. That was covered by insurence and took like a month and a half to replace. Now a month after she got the car back she rearends somone. She only got a sprained ankle and is fine and so is everyone else. So were not sure to get it done with insurence cause if we do we will probably get bumped off it.

Now I was wondering on how much do you think it would cost to get the airbags replaced. And also how much would it cost to get the bumper, grille, and hood fixed or replace? Any Ideas...TIA:D

eeewww, airbags are a huge rape
expect to pay several thousand $ for them to be replaced
I would go through the insurace company personally, chances are the damage is up around $5,000+ for 2 new airbags, new hood, new bumper, plus some other misc stuff. I would get it done at the dealer if I were you

I'd start by confiscating that cell phone!
But yeah, you guys are in it deep for repair bills on that one!!!
