replacing the ECU with a different spec one?pche059 10-09-2001, 04:27 AM I have always wanted to know if this will work some p11s are 110kw while mine one is only 96kw would it work if i replace my ecu with an 110kw version? is this gonna do any good/harm to the engine? Anthony 10-09-2001, 06:47 AM Well, you won't get 110kW (150bhp) by just changing the ECU, I'll tell you that! I doubt the ECU will do any harm as such, but I doubt it'll gain you much, if any, power on its own. You need to obtain the exhaust manifold and intake cam from a 110kW/150bhp Primera AND fit the ECU to get the full power levels. sleepr92 10-18-2001, 06:58 PM Hey guys/gals im new to the forum, I have a Primera motor in a us spec car and was wondering at what does the Primera GT redline at. I was thinking about purchasing an ECU from a GT and seeing if it would help me in performance..? Any help would be appreciated... G-Forces 10-19-2001, 09:27 AM Probably end up being more work than it's worth. You'll have to make absolutely sure all the wires are in the correct place on the ECU harness. Not to mention I don't think it will make any difference. sleepr92 10-19-2001, 11:59 AM Thanks, well today I will recieve my NX purge kit...:sun: Any secret mods for the Primera.... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
