A turbo "kit" for the VR6 starts at ~$3000.
For the 2.0L, ~$2000.
The 1.8t is allready a turbo engine.

dan, where did u find out that a good turbo is 15k? i think an avarage one is 3k cuz all a turbo does it put more hot gas into the cylinder bow and make it run faster

Deakins

Well, 600hp is expencive, $15k sounds about right. Plus labour of course.
But the turbo itself isn't what costs money.

i'm going to drop the same post as before.

have either of your searched this site?

your questions have been answered multiple times.

and i mean multiple.

have you looked at vwvortex as recommended?

you'll find all your answers to your vw questions there.

all.

and come on...

what's better to mod, best gti or worst?

find a solid car and build it. it has nothing to do with being best or worst.

that shouldn't matter. find a solid car to start with.

i'm not criticizing.

simply put. search the forum. you'll find your answers.

think out your questions before you ask them.

look at what i said.

your posts sound random. think about it for a second before you hit the SUBMIT button.

it'll make it easier on the rest of us.

i don't mind answering questions, but i do mind answering a question that's been answered already. multiple times.
